Let's stay here forever watch the waves roll in let's stay here forever barefoot and golden we're young and we're free the ocean in front of me let's just stay here and watch the world go round take over me we'll run this town break all the rules and we will shine bright fly up, touch the sun and shine all night all night long now is our time and now will be old news soon so let's just stay here until forever is old news too we'll stay here forever maybe just today stay young and stay free like we did yesterday along the way with the ocean in front of me we'll keep watching the world go round take over me we'll run this town break all the rules and we will shine bright fly up, touch the sun and shine all night all night long now is our time and now will be old news soon so let's just stay here until forever is old news

Danger on the horizon I can feel the storm coming through me and you take it to the limit Cars are pulling up one by one Leather jackets walk through the sun Take control Take it to the limit Little baby, got me running round Taking myself back to higher ground Little baby, always running round You’re only running from the thoughts inside your head Mamma said “don’t be late tonight” She don't know what’s at stake Take control Take it to the limit We’ll set the stage, don't just let em run Can’t hide can’t lie this time Well see this through Take it to the limit Little baby, got me running round Taking myself back to higher ground Little baby, always running round You’re only running from the thoughts inside your head Na na na Little baby, got me running round Taking myself back to higher ground Little baby, always running round You’re only running from the thoughts inside your head Little baby You’re only running Little baby You’re only running You’re only running You’re only running Little baby You’re only running

Time to go out on my own to a place that I could never call home Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys When I walk through our old town faded memories of days gone by it all seemed so pointless then I swear dream so perfect the magic air we all once shared deserted now Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys Searching, still searching nothing left at all we left it all in search of something more Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys Find me a way to be free help me help me feel at ease play me that song tonight with your summer keys

There ain't nothing like this night We laugh, we sing, we dance There ain't nothing like this night That's my paradise It's the sound of summer baby crashing waves and paper kites there's a city by the sea that's where I want to be magnetic hearts chasing neon nights I would wait for you (waiting all night, been waiting all summer) my whole life baby (tell me one time, tell me one time baby) I never thought (been waiting all my life, tell me it's alright) that I would feel the way I do (to feel the way I do) There ain't nothing like this night We laugh, we sing, we dance There ain't nothing like this night That's my paradise Take my hand and hold on tight We laugh, we sing, we dance There ain't nothing like this night That's my paradise There's a fire burning deep inside let it out let's burn this whole town down to the ground let it out this town from no where, let me out and we'll go quietly Tonight, outside your front door I'll be waiting in my car We'll outrun the sun It never rises when you're riding by my side The night stands still When I feel your magnetic heart I don't know what we got and I don't know how you feel but I know this blame it on me when you can't sleep (I blame you too) and blame it on me when I'm all you see (when night begins to fall, I feel you) and I blame you tonight there's no me without you I know my heart would fail without you There ain't nothing like this night We laugh, we sing, we dance There ain't nothing like this night That's my paradise Take my hand and hold on tight We laugh, we sing, we dance There ain't nothing like this night That's my paradise

Sunset Baby 04:21
She drives down the coastline The road so long There's no where left to run The wind blow threw her hair She doesn't have a care in the world Bright red lipstick Big blue eyes She's got the pedal to the metal Going 185 Rebel girl She's wild and she's free Can't be held down She's a sunset baby Going so fast She drives them crazy Foot to the floor Making you disappear Head in the clouds Miss "leave me be" She's alright She's a sunset baby Here, colors paint the sky Her engine glows red She comes alive Like the moon She shines the brightest in the night Bright red lipstick Big blue eyes She's got the pedal to the metal Going 185 Rebel girl She's wild and she's free Can't be held down She's a sunset baby Going so fast She drives them crazy Foot to the floor Making you disappear Head in the clouds Miss "leave me be" She's alright She's a sunset baby Going so fast She drives them crazy Foot to the floor Making you disappear Head in the clouds Miss "leave me be" She's alright She's a sunset baby

about

Lavallette is a retrowave duo from the Jersey Shore (NJ, USA). Their music has been described as "a deep mixture of hope, melancholy and a sort of achingly beautiful nostalgia" as well as "catchy and melodic with strong vocal performances and a high quality take on classic synthwave sounds"

Their album 'American Summer' is a celebration of the last summer during childhood. For most in the US that's the summer between High School and college/work. There is no time that feels more free than that last American Summer. Each song tells a piece of the story with emotions ranging from joy and excitement to melancholy and anger. It starts with a bang and by the time you reach the end, you’ll be ready to press play again.
